Dan Beck is senior vice president at Workday and is responsible for product marketing as well as technology strategy. In this role he leads global product and services marketing, competitive intelligence, and industry go to market efforts. In his previous role at Workday, Dan led the company’s technology product management and product strategy efforts.
Prior to joining Workday in 2008, Dan led product management for Voltage Security, a data encryption provider that was acquired by HP. Before Voltage Security, he held various product management roles at Intuit and worked on the market-leading QuickBooks™ and Quicken Health products. Prior to Intuit, Dan worked in product management for North Systems, a provider of eCommerce and CRM applications. Dan started his career at Accenture where he developed custom applications and implemented enterprise software suites.
Dan holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
