What to Expect at Workday Rising Europe

I’m thrilled to announce that registration is now open for Workday Rising Europe, taking place in Barcelona from 14-16 November.

In just a few short months, more than 1,800 customers, sponsoring partners, Workday employees, and invited prospective customers and guests will gather at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona. The Workday community shares a special connection—the Power of One—because we are all on the same version of software. The Power of One makes it uniquely possible for attendees to share knowledge, collaborate, and support each other in ways that aren’t possible in the legacy software world.

If you haven’t yet attended Workday Rising Europe, we hope you’ll join us to truly understand the strength of our community! If you’re a returning attendee, we look forward to seeing you again this year, and think some of our new additions (such as the Braindate networking experience) will help foster new connections. Here’s a more detailed look at what to expect at the conference:

Five Content Tracks. Find the track that matters most to you, or choose from multiple tracks. In our finance track, learn how Workday Financial Management empowers data-driven decisions and streamlines finance functions (among the reasons we believe Workday was recently named a leader for cloud core financial management suites). In our HR track, find out how to drive employee engagement and make strategic decisions with actionable analytics in Workday Human Capital Management. Or, explore our architecture, security, integrations, and more in the IT track. We also have a track for those interested in payroll and workforce management, and a track for getting the most out of your Workday investment with best practices for change management, deployment, and user adoption.

Sessions for Everyone. Workday Rising Europe offers learning opportunities for all career levels and roles. In our Business Leader Forums, industry and business leaders weave visionary ideas together with practical strategies and discuss how to move forward with clarity and confidence. In our breakout sessions, learn from product experts and customers on how to get even more out of Workday. Be sure to join one of our Table Talks, where customers swap ideas and discuss business challenges and solutions. Also check out our 20-minute Tips and Tricks sessions, or practice on a sample Workday tenant in our hands-on lab.

Introducing Braindate. If you could pick another customer’s brain, what would you want to learn? We’re excited to bring this new peer-to-peer learning and networking experience to Workday Rising Europe. You’ll be able to request meetings with other customers who share your interests or can offer their expertise in particular areas, or give back by sharing your expertise with others.

Pre-Conference and Alumni Programmes. On the Tuesday before the conference, we’ll offer pre-conference training sessions where customers can learn how to maximize the ROI and adoption of Workday in their current role. If you’ve attended every Workday Rising Europe since our first one in 2014, you qualify for our Alumni Programme, featuring early access to the Session Scheduler, reserved keynote seating, and a commemorative alumni pin.

Fun and Rewarding Activities. It can’t be all work. We’ll offer an opportunity to give back to the community through an interactive experience created by the Workday Foundation. And of course, we’ll all get together and celebrate at our Customer Appreciation Party.

And More. There will be keynotes featuring innovative customers, industry visionaries, and Workday executives. In our Innovation Exchange Expo, you’ll learn about the latest from Workday and our sponsoring partners. In total, we’ve identified more than 115 unique learning opportunities and countless hours of networking, so make sure to check out the Workday Rising Europe site regularly as we add more details to the agenda.
