Something truly magical happens at our annual customer conferences. As a community, we take on the tough issues and share ideas and solutions. In just a handful of days, we absorb a mind-boggling amount of knowledge. We bond with colleagues and make new connections. We hear inspiring stories from customers and celebrity guests. And, we always manage to have some fun.
And every year, we at Workday challenge ourselves to provide an even greater experience than the year before. Here’s a look at some of what you can expect in Orlando and Milan.
Workday Rising is our marquee event for providing deeper insights into our vision and products. That begins with the Workday Innovation Keynote, where Workday leaders will share their visions and talk about the products that will ensure your success in this changing world. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how having a single system to plan, execute, analyze, and extend, all powered by machine learning, opens up endless opportunities. Later, in our Product Strategy and Vision Keynotes, you can dive deeper into what’s new, what’s coming soon, and how we’ll continue to support you with our unrivaled commitment to service.
Our customers have many inspiring stories that deserve lots of visibility—and that can be incredibly helpful for others. We’ve invited more than 300 customers to speak at Workday Rising, and throughout the event, you’ll find many ways to learn more about their experiences, successes, and how they’re leveraging Workday.
Learn what it means to innovate in your industry and how to make the most of Workday at the Workday Experience and Expo. As you roam through it, you’ll never run out of things to discover and learn about—from our more than 100 sponsoring services and software partners to our Workday Ventures companies and more. In fact, the Expo in Orlando will be our biggest one yet—equal to 4.5 football fields.
The Right Strategies
Navigating the changing world requires fresh thinking, and we’ve put a lot of thought into the topics for our Business Strategy Keynotes. You’ll learn about the importance of organizational agility in driving growth of digital products and services. You’ll discover how you can create new opportunities for all in your workforce, and how diversity drives innovation. We’ll talk about ethical development of artificial intelligence, new use cases for blockchain, how emerging tech is reshaping the workforce, and a lot more.
We’re making it easier than ever to help you find other customers that have some of the same questions you have, or who can suggest solutions based on their own experiences. You can mingle with peers in our track-focused lounges as well as in the Meetup Café and during Industry Power Hours, and we’ve expanded our Braindate program to include Table Talks around crowd-sourced topics.
We’ve significantly expanded the number of opportunities for you to learn from other customers in your industry, and to talk to Workday and partner experts about industry-specific solutions. You’ll find a vast number of industry-focused sessions to choose from, and the Expo will feature an “Innovate for Your Industry” zone where you can see demos and network with industry peers.
Learnings for Everyone
We’ve created hundreds of sessions, ranging from theater presentations to deep dives on topics and hands-on labs, for people at all levels in your organization. We’ve designed tracks for finance, human resources, planning and analytics, payroll and workforce management, student administration, our product suite, technology, services and support, business management and market trends, and industries. You’ll find numerous workshops and accredited training sessions, including the ability to earn professional credits.
Inspiration and Giving Back
I’m beyond excited for our Leadership Innovation Keynote in Orlando with “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who will talk about leading with purpose. That includes how to see opportunity where others don’t, motivate teams, and build a diverse and inclusive culture. Award-winning journalist and entrepreneur Soledad O’Brien will moderate the discussion. In addition, we’ve created a special way for Orlando conference attendees to give back, by providing resume feedback and conducting mock interviews with job seekers as part of Opportunity Onramps, a workforce development movement dedicated to creating economic opportunity for all.
We’ll launch the conference in Orlando with one of the greatest comedians of all time, Jerry Seinfeld, and start wrapping it up at our Customer Appreciation Party at Universal Studios, where we’ll have the entire theme park to ourselves. While we’re not quite ready to unveil all the details for the Customer Appreciation Party in Milan, I can share that we’ll be hosting an exclusive party with a fantastic band. We’ll have more to reveal as we get closer to the event.
